Chief People and Culture Officer – Freska

Freska is a venture-funded technology start-up. The mission is to help service professionals and customers realizing a better and easier life. They do this by being the best home-services company in the world. Freska operates in Northern Europe, in 6 cities and bring in thousands of new customers monthly. Voted one of the hottest tech start-ups in Finland, Freska is an online home services company currently disrupting the traditional home cleaning industry in the Nordics.

Freska is now looking for a Chief People & Culture Officer (CPCO) for the Group. The CPCO will have the full responsibility for all HR-related activity at group level and have a major impact on the development of the Freska culture. The candidate should be a solid people leader, with the ability to inspire and lead a diverse team in a smooth manner yet focus on delivering results. The candidate should have a clear view on the strategic direction for Freska and secure execution and implementation of the strategy.

Experience & Competence

  • Competence in developing strategies, policies, processes, etc. and secure change management and solid implementation
  • A solid track record of several roles in the HR field is required
  • Experience from various companies, ideally service and personnel intensive environments
  • Experience from M&A or organizational transformation/re-organization
  • Experience from automating, digitalizing tools, streamlining efficiency and operations
  • Merit with experience from start-up and fast paced/high growth environments
  • Experience from socially responsible organizations is a plus
  • Merit if the candidate knows Swedish HR regulations

Areas of Responsibility

  • Main responsible for Group HR, People & Culture but also initially overseeing HR in Sweden
  • Drive structural changes, employer branding, efficient processes, and culture development
  • Support Freska Group’s continued growth and drive culture and efficiency including alignment of processes, systems and methodologies
  • Lead culture, values, and employer branding, securing Freska as the most responsible cleaning services company in the Nordic market including driving community orientation and social responsibility
  • Build a solid HR team for the Group and in each country
