Sales Director SME & Large Accounts – CTEK

CTEK was founded in 1997 in Vikmanshyttan and has since then been a fast-growing company where innovation is key. Today they are the global leader in battery care and power management solutions, selling over a million chargers every year in over 70 countries. CTEK was the first in the world to introduce the “smart way” to charge a battery. It is based on communication between the charger and the battery. Prestige and luxury car manufactures understood this right away and good relationships were created. Now the innovation and product are available to everyday drivers and are among others used by car manufacturers – such as Audi, BMW, Ferrari and Lamborghini.

CTEK is now looking for an experienced Sales Director for the SME and Large Accounts clients. In this role you will be playing a large part in growing the Energy and Facility revenues as well as developing the sales organization within Europe. You will report to Cecilia Routledge, Global Director E&F.

Experience & Competence

  • Solid sales experience towards international customers and accounts
  • Interest and ability to understand technology
  • Formal leadership experience is required – as well as having built and developed teams
  • International experience is required
  • Merit with experience of fast-growing B2B companies/areas/divisions/ventures
  • SaaS and SW based experience could be relevant as well as solution and HW
  • Merit with CRM system experience

Goals of the Role

  • Grow the E&F revenues in Europe in relevant segment by 3-4x from current levels
  • Ensure that right sales organization is in place by recruiting, motivating and developing the sales organization across multiple European countries
  • Set and deliver on a sales strategy that retains and increases margins and as well as minimizes cost, hence improving the overall profitability of the division
  • Have some own clients and grow our share of their installations
