Head of Sales, Customer Experience (DACH) – ECS, GlobalLogic

Headquartered in Edinburgh, ECS delivers digital solutions that harness the latest cloud technologies, with a focus on, Digital Engineering, Data Analytics and Customer Experience. In November 2020, GlobalLogic acquired ECS to enhance their capabilities and expand their reach. GlobalLogic is a leader in digital product engineering with headquarters in Silicon Valley.

As the Head of Sales, Customer Experience (DACH), you will be the first person in Germany to take on the mission of establishing ECS in the DACH area, with support from GlobalLogic, the UK team and technical support/engineers from Poland. In the coming years as Head of Sales, you will be expected to build and grow a well-functioning team and merge successfully into the GlobalLogic organization. . Your main goal will be to win new business and close contracts with new customers in the DACH area. You are also expected to grow these accounts over time, as well as act proactive in the relationship building with existing customers.

Experience & Competence

  • Proven track record in successful winning new business contracts in the areas of contact-centre
    solutions, customer experience (CX) and/or across multiple sectors in technology
    services/solutions
  • Excellent understanding of Cloud, IT Managed Services or Software solutions and their delivery
    including how these can be positioned to the Financial Industry or other Enterprise level clients
    (alternative industries/segments)
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to quickly create long term
    relationships
  • Experience of selling consultancy services and software solution is desired

  • A self-driven personality with the ability to reach and exceed challenging sales targets
  •  Ability to build and develop high-level relationships with customers, partners and other
    stakeholders
  • Demonstrates clear leadership and the ability to influence and persuade stakeholders
    (externally/internally)
  •  Ability to absorb complex technical information and communicates effectively at all levels to
    both technical and non-technical audiences

 

Areas of Responsibility 

  • P/L responsible for CX Sales in the DACH Region (net sales, gross margin and customer
    satisfaction) as per business plan and targets
  • Development of new client relationships to drive new business sales revenue
  • Leveraging your contact network to generate sales opportunity and revenue
  • Leveraging new CX business opportunities from existing GL clients in DACH

 

Overall goals of the Role

  • Accountable for owning and driving new CX Sales in the DACH countries, in priority:
    1. New customers in the Financial Industry or other selected Industry segment
    2. Qualified prospects in coordination with the account team at AWS Connect (DACH)
    3. Existing GlobalLogic (GL) customers in DACH
  • When business is developing, recruit and develop an Account Team for the DACH area
  • Maximise revenue and continuous revenue generating opportunities across all Practice areas
  • Utilising your contact-centre sector knowledge and/or Enterprise IT solutions and services
    experience to generate opportunities for a fast-growing practice
