Head of Global Operations – Polarium

As a Global Operations Manager, you will combine your passion for developing and leading teams and your ability to develop and implement Operations Strategies at one of Europe’s fastest growing lithium power companies.

As a person you must enjoys fast growing global corporate environment with customer requirements in focus. You will establish new global processes/policies to increase efficiencies and enhance the overall customer experience. You will lead, motivate and coach a high-performance global team of 200+.


Experiences and Competences 

  • More than 10 years of experience in senior leadership roles (GM/VP) within the Operations area
  • Ability to streamline and implement structures and roles that create speed, efficiency, and support rapidly shifting business demands
  • Experience from Operations tools implementation and process improvement methodologies (e.g. ISO, Six Sigma, LEAN, ERP, MRP, MES)
  • Strong negotiation- and commercial skills in both internal and external settings (advantage if experienced in Sourcing from Asia)
  • Experience from international company in manufacturing industrial sector
  • Experience working in multicultural work environments
  • Excellent English communication skills
  • Relevant Academic education (e.g. BS or BA degree in job related field) or equivalent work experience


Areas of Responsibility 

  • Responsible for Incell Group Operations overall
  • Motivate, lead and coach high performance global team of 200+
  • Drive the organization to improve processes and tools as needed to achieve company goals
  • Lead the performance management process that measures and evaluates progress against goals
  • Support the business with high quality and stable supply of finished goods that meet customer demand and expectations, yet keeping inventory and costs at optimal levels
  • Develop, implement, and monitor day-to-day operational systems and processes that provide visibility into goals and progress
  • Design and implement systems, tools, processes, and technology that drive operational efficiencie
  • Drive a safety-first culture throughout Operations globally and ensure compliance
  • Collaborate/partner with other Executive Leadership Team members to align, spread efficient communication to increase performance and engagement across the organization

Goals of the Role

  • Develop and implement Operations Strategy to achieve operational efficiency, transition from one into multi-sites Operations
  • Expand Operations with a Customer First mentality and a World Class Operational Excellence to deliver SEK 4 billion in annual revenue by 2023
  • Decrease the BOM costs by 10% over the coming 3 years
