Nordic CRM Manager – Plantagen

Plantagen was founded a little more than 35 years ago in Norway. Selling plants and giving advice to customers started as a local concept but quickly developed into a more nationwide scale. Step by step, stores based on the garden concept were established throughout the country and by the beginning of 2000 there were nearly sixty garden centers throughout Norway. The opportunity to introduce the successful business concept to the neighboring Nordic countries was then discovered and in 2002 the Växus chain was acquired and Plantagen expanded and opened its first garden center in Sweden. The following year, the first Plantagen opened in Finland. In 2016, Plantagen was acquired by Ratos, an investment company that owns and develops Nordic companies. Today, Plantagen employ 2,400 people and are present in 128 locations across the Nordic region, with 43 stores in Sweden, 73 stores in Norway and 12 stores in Finland, as well as having a well-stocked ecommerce site. 

Plantagen is now looking for a Nordic CRM Manager who will be responsible for the overall development and execution of the CRM-strategy. In this role, you will be playing a large part in evolving and expanding the customers chain’s club based on insights and analytics. You will lead the CRM team and work closely with the Marketing department and other stakeholders within Plantagen.

Experience & Competence

o Experience from B2C based companies together with dynamic and change based environment o Primarily experience from retail and e-commerce based companies
o Experience from process mapping, data gathering/visualization, and make sure data is used the right way to drive better business outcome
o Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills
o Merit with relevant university degree within marketing, communication
o Experience from multi-channel environments is a merit
o Ideally experience from bigger companies
o Experience from working with CRM Systems
o Written and verbal fluency in English and Swedish required

Areas of Responsibility

o Responsible for segmentation and analysis of both existing and potential customers
o Drive the planning, creation, and execution of all CRM activities
o Responsible for budget, KPIs and monitoring of key figures related to CRM
o Product owner and development manager for our CRM system and customer database
o Manage CRM projects and proactively seek new business opportunities, insights, and hidden potential through solid analytical work
o Responsible for the operation and development of the customer club
o Lead CRM projects and proactively seek new business opportunities, insights, and hidden potential through solid analytical work
