CTO – Skincity

Skincity is an online skincare clinic that offers a finely-tuned selection of professional skincare products and makeup, founded in 2011. The company has experienced a remarkable growth since the start and is expected to continue to grow in the upcoming years. 

Skincity is looking for a CTO to be a part of building and managing the Tech team. As the CTO you will have the main responsibility of driving strategic issues, as well as nourishing/enhancing the technology that is in place today. In addition, you are expected to drive initiatives around new markets, payment methods, loyalty programs etc., and contribute to the development of Skincity by innovating around new technology areas to create business value. 

Experiences and Competences 

  • Experience from B2C based companies together with dynamic and change based Environment
  • Primarily experience from e-commerce based companies
  • Broad technical competence and experience, depth is not required
  • Experience from leading tech projects (contact with both developers and the business)
  • Experience from handling suppliers and outsourced systems/platforms
  • Documented line management experience, alternatively solid project management skills
  • Merit with experience from agile development environments
  • Not required to have been a CTO previously
  • Ideally experience from smaller companies – start-up/scale-up environments
  • International experience is a merit
  • Solid English skills
