CFO – Verified

Verified’s adventure began in 2012, based on new innovation and the utilization of existing technology. It started with smart flows for eSigning and eID. Today Verified operates in Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. They simplify, secure and automate more than 3000 customers’ most advanced workflows and onboarding processes.

Verified is now looking for a CFO to support their continued growth journey, both organically and through M&A’s. In this position you will be in charge of building a lean “best in class” finance function by building a solid structure for processes and procedures as well as supporting the CEO, board and leadership team.

Experience & Competence

• Experience from high growth companies within tech
• Exposure to M&A/DD/Integrations
• Clearly business driven; support the business, streamline, drive KPIs/metrics
• Experience of having sourced and managed finance suppliers
• Experience from informal leadership – merit with line management experience
• Experience of data driven settings
• Ideally international experience with a focus on the Nordics
• Fluency in English is required. Fluency in Swedish is a merit.

Overall Goals of the Role

Short term

• Observe, learn and understand: business, processes, offering, tech/products, people
• Support and become tandem partner to the CEO – build high trust within the board and leadership team
• Establish solid structure, processes and procedures for financial control, KPIs, reporting, cost metrics – drive, support and follow-up
• Establish and drive forecasting processes
• Create insights for the business, drive cost benefit analyses and related KPIs
• Review and suggest to implement processes that do not exist today
• Establish a lean finance team

Medium and long term

• Automate financial flow, establish clear overview and develop tech stack
• Set scalable financial operations for growth
• Develop methods, tools, processes and systems
• Shape the strategy with the management team
• Align KPIs based on strategic direction, objectives and key results
• Establish and build an efficient international corporate structure to support the international growth of the business
• Support with leadership and deliver on both top line, profitability and world class finance operations

Travel: Limited travel time in Europe / Nordics
