The head office is located in Täby, Stockholm.
Harald Pihl is currently looking for a Purchaser who wants to take part in their growth journey – the goal is to reach 1 billion SEK in turnover in 2026 (currently 715 million). In this role, you will work with the purchase of metals to ensure the desired stock level, monitor deliveries and create and maintain relationships with various suppliers.
Experience & Competence
- Operational experience in international purchasing and purchasing processes (experience in
purchasing metals or other technical areas is an advantage) - Experience in negotiations and maintaining relationships with suppliers (risk management is
a merit) - Experience in global sourcing (finding the right materials in the market) and maintaining
inventory levels - Experience with ERP systems is a plus (e.g., Monitor)
- Technical higher education is an advantage
- Fluency in both English and Swedish, both spoken and written

new things - High energy level, extroverted, and communicative
- Structured, meticulous, and well-organized, with prioritizing skills
- Self-motivated, solution-oriented, and proactive
- Credible personality with the ability to build long-term relationships with suppliers and other
stakeholders - Business-oriented and analytical with an understanding of the greater business scope
- Humble and unpretentious – solution-oriented in various situations
Areas of Responsibility
- Actively work with the purchasing of metals to ensure desired inventory levels in various
areas - Place orders, review order acknowledgments from suppliers, and monitor deliveries
- Maintain relationships with existing suppliers and find and establish relationships with new
suppliers - Negotiate prices and contracts with suppliers (including risk management, margin/metals
prices)
