Vilja Solutions is a Nordic SaaS (cloud-native) core banking provider. Established in 2007, Vilja has rapidly grown to become one of the leading vendors in the Nordics, offering innovative solutions that empower banks to navigate the digital transformation landscape effectively. The company is headquartered in Sweden and operates sales offices in the UK and Malaysia.
Vilja is now searching for a Sales Director for the Nordic Large Banks, who will play a crucial role in expanding Vilja’s presence in this significant market segment. This position will lead the sales efforts, managing the entire process from initial contact to closing deals, and collaborate with a virtual sales team. Vilja’s ambition is to become an even stronger player in the Nordic banking sector, and as a member of the sales team, the role will contribute to shaping the strategy that will drive the growth and success in this area. One Nordic Large Bank has recently been signed, proving that there is a clear potential to develop this market segment, further for continued successful growth.
Experience & Competence
- Several years of experience of complex B2B SaaS sales
- Highly preferred with Finance industry and banking domain experience
- Ability to run sales processes well ‘End-to-End’
- Documented sales track record of longer sales cycles
- Be able to handle all areas of the of the sales process and involve the right stakeholders
- Stakeholder management skills including ability to handle C-level
- Ability to understand customer’s needs
- Relevant degree is a merit (not required)
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in English and Swedish

Goals of the Role
- Responsibility of driving sales towards the Nordic Large Banks segment and positioning Vilja towards this segment
- Contribute to Vilja’s overall growth target of 30% in ARR growth
- Objective to close 3-4 SaaS deals per year
Start: Q3 2025
Location: Stockholm
Office Time: 3-4 days per week
Travel: approx. 20-25% within Nordics
