Autoliv is seeking a visionary and dynamic leader with an entrepreneurial mindset to join them as “Director – Disruptive Product Creation & Industrialization”. This exciting opportunity calls for a growth mindset and a can-do attitude, togheter with strong networking- and collaboration skills. In this position, you will lead the development of a new area of business and system solutions in collaboration with customers and partners while working closely with key internal areas.

Experience & Competence
• Experience and achievements in building new innovative business solutions, from an
early stage into a commercial offering
• Experience in partnership driven development of complex solutions
• Good technical understanding and experience, with an emphasis on software
• Experiences of building partnership and relationships
• Understanding and experience from the automotive industry and its eco-system
• Chassis and control understanding form automotive or similar is a merit
• Experience in SW in combination with mechatronics development (Software Defined
Vehicles), is a merit
• Fluent in English

Areas of responsibilities
• Develop new area of business and system solutions in collaboration with customers(s)
and partners based on a decided overall strategy
• Scout and drive partnerships for the full system
• Facilitate decisions strategically as well as operational
• Set system requirements and execute a scalable system together with a first customer
• Collaboration with key internal areas as well as high degree of external partners

Overall Goals of the Role

Long term
• Create and develop a new and sustainable Business Area within Autoliv
• 100 000 lives saved by 2030 (currently Autoliv saves 35 000 lives annually)

Medium term
• Recruit and develop needed key competencies (initially 4-5 people, within 1-2
years up to 15 people
• Develop a MVP for the new Business Area

Short term
• Set team structure and build a diverse team for needed capabilities in the new
area
• Find and select suitable partners and a “friendly” customer for the development
project

Placement: Lindholmen, Göteborg
Start: ASAP
Travel: Regular business travels
Office time: Hybrid, indication 3 days/week in office
