Head of MarCom and Talent – Autoliv

Autoliv is a worldwide leader in automotive safety. They increase traffic safety by selling automotive safety systems to all major car manufacturers globally. Autoliv develops, manufactures and markets airbags, seatbelts and steering wheels. The newly launched Mobility Safety Solutions (MSS) ambition is to save more lives & prevent serious injuries. By Providing innovative solutions for mobility and Society by exploration and leveraging their global assets, competence and safety expertise, MSS has a goal of saving 100,000 lives by 2030. 

Autoliv is currently looking for a Head of MarCom and Talent to join their newly launched growth initiative MSS (Mobility Safety Solutions). As Head of MarCom and Talent, you will have the main responsibility over marketing and communication, structure communication plans towards internal and external stakeholders as well as managing talent and competence for MSS.

Experience & Competence

  • Broad experience of marketing and communications with a focus on data driven/number-oriented marketing/digital marketing
  • B2B and B2C experience 
  • Line management experience with competence for staffing and resourcing topics
  • Experience from start-up/scale-up or intrapreneurial/developed/worked in new areas in matrix based environments
  • Experience in making marketing business cases and handling a broad media mix as well as prioritizing budget/investments
  • Global/International experience
  • Project Management skills
  • Ability of building and maintaining networks
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Tech interest and ideally worked in tech-oriented companies
  • Fluency in English, merit with fluency in Swedish

Long term

  • 100 000 lives saved by 2030 
  • Create a sizable adjacent business generating at least 1 BUSD in annual turnover by organic growth and acquisitions

Medium term

  • Beyond 2024: Contribute annually 1-2% points of the total Autoliv profitable growth target of 4-6%
  • MSS is currently 100MUSD in annual turnover. By 2025 contribute with additional 100-200MUSD turnover in profitable growth
  • Drive thought leadership of MSS

Short term

  • Build marketing and communication plans for MSS in general and for the various engagements 
  • Support each individual business systematically with the right strategies and processes including tools
  • Support scale-up of new areas
  • Build communication plan towards investor market
  • Develop internal communication plan, MSS roadshow internally
  • Set structure and processes for marketing, communications and PR
  • Work goal oriented; drive ROI and Business Case driven marketing – define where to focus marketing spend
  • Manage talent and competence for MSS for the various engagements
  • Coordinate and cooperate with Autoliv Corporate Communications and Investor Relations

Placement: Ideally in Stockholm or Gothenburg

Start: Q2 2023

Reporting to: VP and Head of MSS
